Merkley Family Photos | Utah Family Photographer | Studio 1918 SLC

I've known the Merkleys for years, and went to high school with several of their daughters. My brother married into their family, which is pretty awesome.

This is the type of family that you just feel privileged to know. They're intelligent, talented, funny and always up for good conversation. I had the privilege of photographing Leah's wedding a few years ago and it's just so fun to be involved in family sessions along the way to see how they grow!

Also, it's apparently a family trait to have the girls outnumber the boys, because just look at all of those beautiful little girls!

On a more somber note, Josh, the Merkley brother, was missed this time around. He passed away not long after Leah's wedding and it would feel amiss to not mention him, because he's still a part of this amazing family, and a huge part of who they are today. He will always be missed. This photo is from Leah's wedding when I had the chance to photograph them all. But new little ones have been added since then, and the other littles are getting much bigger. :) Ok, check out the rest of the photos for yourself now!
