Baby Lincoln

Nearly 2 years ago, I got to photograph the wedding of this friend of mine.

And now, they have a baby boy!
I got to take some sweet photos of him last week.

He is so adorable! And I love all of his dark, thick hair.

So relaxed. :)
They named him Lincoln.
I often ask my baby boy, Sam, "whatcha thinkin' Lincoln?"
When I found out they were planning on that name I told Travis,
"They're gonna be able to say that all the time, and mean it!"
I'm probably gonna give Sam some sort of name complex. ;)

I love baby toes.

Britt is gonna be such an amazing mother.

I'm basically in love with this photo below.
Sleeping babies are the cutest. (Right after the happy ones of course.)

 Those beautiful, dark eyes...

The winter beauty

Among all the photo sessions I've had this past month I decided
to take my little family on a walk out in the freezing snow
(after we finally got some snow) because I just think it's SO beautiful.
All the trees in Logan with fresh snow simply take my breath away.
And before too long it turns to dirty snow and bare trees so I
wanted to take advantage of the sunny day we had.

Sam didn't seem to mind too much. Mostly he seemed indifferent. :)

Welcome Winter!

This is one of my favorite spots in Logan. It's just around the corner from our home.
And here's a quick comparison from this fall.

Stay tuned! I've got some more newborn photos coming up next!

Snows in the snow

I got to photograph my best friend's family last week.
It was much easier with just these 5 adults than the 3 little kids I had the week before...
no crying during this session. ;)

My friend's name is Amanda Snow.
And it was snowing! How perfect is that?
But really, we lucked out with the weather, it was supposed to be snowing super
hard, but it ended up being rather warm, and we had beautiful, fresh snow.

I just think this one is magical.

I had such a great time, and am SO pleased with how these photos turned out!
I love the shadows on the wet asphalt on the one below.

Such a great looking bunch!
