Night Photography
I've always been a bit fascinated with night photography and long exposures.
Last year Travis and I spent some time experimenting
with long exposures and had a ton of fun with it.
Here's some of the shots we got up on campus.
We really enjoyed this fountain.
I love the soft effect of the running water. Especially with the dramatic lighting.
This is actually Travis' shot--the prize of the night. :)
Travis did a great job holding still.
He's basically an expert model at this point.
We also went to the fair just to take photos of the rides at night.
Some of them turned out pretty neat.
This one is definitely my favorite.
Mostly because the whole frame is just filled.
I feel like that's one thing I've learned while taking night shots--the less masses of black
you have in your photo, the better. After all, it's all about the light.
I went to the temple last week and as I was leaving I looked back at the temple
and it was just gorgeous! It was just starting to get dark and the temple
was being lit up and I thought, "I need to come take some photos."
So the next day while Travis was at meetings, Sam and I went back up to the temple.
